Perpetrators – Images and Sites: A Challenge for Research and Education
After a break, the Ravensbrück Memorial Museum is again hosting the Ravensbrück European Summer School. Over 100 participants have already registered, reflecting the strong interest in shared reflection and interdisciplinary exchange.
The 17th Ravensbrück European Summer School will focus on questions surrounding perpetration. Discussions will address not only the historical scope of action of female guards in the Ravensbrück concentration camp, but also new perspectives on collaboration, exhibition practices, media representations, and gender-based approaches.
The Summer School brings together students, researchers, educators, and those with a general interest in the topic. Lectures, guided tours, workshops, and artistic formats form a diverse programme that offers ample space for discussion and exchange.
A few places are still available.
The Ravensbrück European Summer School is organised in cooperation with the Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History Potsdam (ZZF), the Leibniz Research Alliance “Value of the Past”, and the Centre for Research on Antisemitism at TU Berlin.
